A Fuel Gas Conditioning
System delivering clean natural gas to turbines.
This fuel gas
conditioning skid is designed to deliver clean and treated natural gas
to gas turbines in Saudi Arabia. The system cleans the gas with two 100%
horizontal filter coalescers which is followed up with heating of the
gas above its dew point with three 360KW electric fuel gas heaters. The
system includes flow metering, pressure regulation and a skid mounted
control panel suitable for installation in a Class 1 Division 1 hazardous
area. Pictures
A complete
Fuel Gas Conditioning System on a state-of-the-art platform.
This system includes a fuel gas scrubber, duplex stainless steel
filter/coalescers, a super heater, a pressure reduction station, all valves
and instrumentation and a remotely mounted electrical control panel. Texas
Systems & Controls was honored for this project with a design award bestowed
by the end-user.
One of the largest Fuel Gas Systems ever built for an offshore platform!
Shown here is the Filter Skid to the left and the Scrubber Skid on the
right. The Heater Skid is on the cover of the brochure.
- This total system has three
complete trains for multiple gas users.
- A total of eight (8) megawatts
of electric heat is used to handle the enormous fuel gas flow rates.
A Fuel Gas
System with duplex filter coalescers and electric super heater.
The duplex filter/coalescers reduce entrained liquid, then the super
heater raises the gas temperature to vaporize the entrained liquid and
keep the gas above dew point in the combustion chamber.
This was a turnkey project with all controls skid mounted complete with
all inter-connecting wiring.
