Built for NASA, these two fully automatic Pilot Plants convert diesel fuel to methane gas for fuel cells.

Equipment included:

• ASME stainless steel vessels, reactor, heaters
• Separators, pumps, compressors and air coolers.

Instrumentation included:

• Mass flow and thermal flow meters
• Orifice plates and control valves
• Transmitters and lots of thermocouples

All controls and heaters are explosion-proof, with a class Z purge for Class 1, Divison II, Group C & D area.

Controls included local PLC and remote PC.

All PLC programming, interface software and P&ID loop controls performed by Texas Systems & Controls personnel.

• Equipment tests various adsorbents at a job site.
• Skid made from stainless steel to prevent rusting.
• Skid shipped continuously from site to site around the world.

Heat Transfer Research Skid designed for Class 1, Division 2 area.

Package includes a pump, heater, mass flow transmitter, instrumentation and a control panel.
